Retrodukcija

How much does a wedding band cost?

A straight answer.

€3000–€5000

That's roughly what a Retrodukcija performance at a wedding costs. The final price depends on the date, the location, the chosen format and the production requirements of the venue.

Travel and accommodation for the crew are added on top and itemised separately in the quote. We don't quote a flat rate for them because they depend on the current state of the accommodation and transport market — the cost of a night's stay and of fuel varies by season and region.

We know it's the first thing you want to know, and that most bands won't answer it. We'd rather give you the range up front so we can both see whether it makes sense to keep talking.

What moves the price

Four things that
decide the figure

Format

Classic includes six hours of programme — three hours of band and three hours of resident DJ Glazbena kuhinja. Signature means 225 minutes of Retrodukcija live, with no DJ programme.

Date

Saturdays in peak season are the most sought after. Weekdays and dates outside the main season are often more affordable. If you're flexible with the date, tell us.

Location

Zagreb and the surrounding area is one thing, Dalmatia or Istria another. A distant location means logistics, equipment transport and an overnight stay. Travel and accommodation are itemised separately in the quote.

Venue and production

A larger or outdoor space needs a bigger sound system and more lighting. Set design, full concert lighting and HD recording are add-ons.

Included in the price

What you get

Travel and accommodation for the crew are itemised separately in the quote. Add-ons — set design, full lighting and HD audio recording — are charged separately and agreed along with the quote.

Frequently asked about price

How much does a wedding band cost?

A Retrodukcija performance at a wedding falls roughly between €3000 and €5000. The final price depends on the date, the location, the chosen format and the production requirements of the venue. Travel and accommodation are added on top and are itemised separately in the quote. Send us the date and the location and you'll get a concrete quote, with no obligation.

How are travel and accommodation calculated?

Travel and accommodation for the crew aren't included in the base price — they're itemised separately in the quote. The amount depends on the distance, the schedule of the performance and the current state of the accommodation and transport market: the cost of a night's stay and of fuel varies by season and region. That's why we don't quote a flat rate: the quote shows a concrete figure for your date and your location, separate from the band's fee.

Why does the price differ from wedding to wedding?

Because the performances differ too. The Classic format includes six hours of programme — three hours of band and three hours of resident DJ — while Signature means 225 minutes of Retrodukcija live. The venue matters as well: a larger or outdoor space needs a bigger sound system and more lighting, and a distant location adds logistics, transport and possibly overnight accommodation for the crew.

What's included in the price?

The performance in your chosen format, a professional sound system, a sound engineer, ambient stage lighting, music during the breaks, arrival and setup of the equipment, and preparation of the programme — including rehearsing your first dance song and matching the musical direction to your Music DNA brief.

What isn't included?

Travel and accommodation for the crew are itemised separately in the quote. Set design and stage design, full concert lighting and HD audio recording of the performance are add-ons and are charged separately.

Is a deposit required?

The date is reserved with a deposit, and the balance is paid as agreed. We send the exact terms along with the quote so you have them in writing before committing to anything.

Is the price lower out of season?

The date affects the price. Peak-season dates and Saturdays are the most sought after, so weekdays and dates outside the main season are often more affordable. If you're flexible with the date, tell us in your enquiry.

Tell us the date and the location

A concrete quote comes with no obligation. If booking for the season is open and the date is free, you'll get the exact figure, travel and accommodation itemised separately, what's included and the terms under which the date is reserved.
