An outdoor stage, a square full of people, and a set built for a crowd rather than a hall.
An open space asks for a different approach — a bigger sound system, stronger lighting and a programme that runs longer and without breaks.
The audience spread across the whole square, and the energy from the stage had to reach the very back row.
